COUNTING ON OUR RIGHTS
Remember when the Constitution and Bill of Rights were the bedrock upon which this country was built? Remember when the
role of government was minimal? When its role was limited to things like protecting individual liberties, providing for common
defense and ensuring cooperation among the states?
But, somewhere along the line, government started thinking that "We the People" worked for it, instead of the other way around. To
say the least, our government has become fat, entitled and very, very hungry. We stand diametrically opposed to this new status
quo. For the continued good of the country and the principles upon which it stands, this governmental growth and intrusion into
all aspects of our lives is untenable.
Conservatives of America recognizes that even conservatives may disagree on the details. But our movement isn't about the
minor points. It's about the big ones that Washington seems to be missing more and more.
These principles fuel our belief in the ideals our Founding Fathers embraced. Great leaders like Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Ben Franklin all
shared this beautiful vision of society where people could live free - free from oppression and tyranny. Their vision is still valid today.
We believe for America to move forward into a new era of prosperity, that we must first return to these ideals. Do you? If so,
