General Facts
Q: What is Conservatives of America and why was it founded?
A: Conservatives of America was founded to give a strong voice to marginalized U.S conservatives. It focuses on the large percentage of people who feel ignored and are worried about runaway taxes and a complete lack of fiscal responsibility by our government. We’re not a political party; we’re simply a grassroots movement to unify conservatives and give them a voice to change the course we’re now heading.
Q: Who started it?
A: The organization was founded in September 2009 by Bill Murphy, a small business owner and real estate consultant, from St. Louis, MO. A very special group of talented individuals were assembled to develop ConservativesofAmerica.com, which serves as the virtual headquarters of a nationwide conservative movement.
Q: What is “the count”?
A: Conservatives of America wants to show its emerging grassroots strength via what it calls “The Count.” The Count is simply the growing tally of Conservatives of America members. We need The Count to show government and the media that we are significant in number, we’re not satisfied with the current status quo and we will have an impact in the next election.
Q: What if I’m not conservative on all issues?
A: Even conservatives may disagree on the details, but our movement isn’t about the minor points. It’s about the big ones that Washington seems to be missing more and more.

Q: How to change my Password?
A: To change your password go to “Account” in the menu at the top right corner of the page, then click “Security.” Type in your old password and then your new password. Click save.

Q: What is the cost?
A: The membership fee is $25 for the first year and then a $15 renewal fee each year thereafter.
Q: What credit cards are accepted?

Q: Will I automatically be charged the renewal fee of $15 each year?
A: No. Conservatives of America will never automatically renew your membership. As your membership anniversary approaches, we will notify you via e-mail and let you initiate your renewal from there.
Member Privacy
Q: Why do you need my contact and billing information?
A: We need this information, so we can send you your membership card and your t-shirt. Also, we need it in order to identify your Senators and Representative. This is important because we will e-mail you regularly with information about their voting record on key issues. We will also be informing Congress about key membership milestones we hit within each state and congressional district.
Q: Will you be giving out any of my personal information?
A: Any information that you provide for us will not be given out to a third parties or affiliates.
